LabradoriteThe stone of transformation

Labradorite formed deep within the earth's crust, where the rock cooled so slowly that it built up layers thin enough to catch and split the light. That inner fire — the flashes of electric blue that move as you turn the stone — has its own name: labradorescence.

First described on the coast of Labrador in 1770, the Inuit believed the northern lights were once trapped inside it, until a warrior freed them with a strike of his spear. It is known as a stone of transformation and protection — a companion through change that is said to awaken intuition.

No two are alike. The flash pattern of your sphere exists nowhere else on earth.

AmethystThe stone of calm

Amethyst is quartz that, over millions of years, drew its unmistakable violet from iron caught in its crystal lattice and the patience of the earth. For centuries it was prized as highly as precious gems, reserved for royalty and the clergy.

Its name comes from the Greek amethystos — "not intoxicated." The ancients carved it into cups, believing it kept the mind clear and serene. Today it is known as a stone of calm and balance: it invites rest, quiets the thoughts, and keeps company through meditation.

Each sphere is cut from a single piece, chosen for the depth and evenness of its violet.

Rose QuartzThe stone of love

Rose quartz owes its blush to fine traces of titanium and manganese woven through the crystal. It is one of the oldest stones linked to affection: in Egypt and Rome it was set into amulets and believed to keep the face youthful.

It is known as the stone of love in all its forms — self-love, tenderness, reconciliation. It is said to open the heart and soften the way we hold ourselves and others. It remains a favorite gift between people who care for one another.

Its color is soft and serene; each sphere is chosen for the delicacy and evenness of its rose.

Tiger's EyeThe stone of strength

Tiger's eye hides an optical effect called chatoyancy: a band of golden light that glides across the surface as you turn the stone, like the pupil of a big cat. It is born from fine mineral fibers aligned within the quartz, reflecting light into a single living line.

Roman soldiers carried it, engraved as a talisman of protection and courage before battle. It is known as a stone of strength, courage and focus — said to bring confidence and a clear head when it's time to decide.

Each sphere is chosen for the sharpness of its golden band and the richness of its banding.

Pairings

Spheres that belong together

Some stones shine alone, and some come alive side by side. These are the pairings most loved by those who build their collection:

+

Calm & Love

Amethyst and rose quartz. The serenity of one and the tenderness of the other — the favorite pairing for the bedroom, a quiet corner, or a gift with meaning.

+

Protection & Strength

Labradorite and tiger's eye. The shield and the resolve — the combination many choose for the entryway, the office, or the workspace.

The complete collection

All four stones together. A balanced set — transformation, calm, love and strength — that makes a serene, luminous centerpiece for any room.

To keep it at its best

Caring for your sphere

Light, not heat

Place it where daylight or a warm lamp can reach it — the color and the flash come alive under directed light. Avoid prolonged direct sun through glass, which can fade nearby surfaces.

Wipe with a dry cloth

Gently use the included cloth or a microfiber. Avoid water, household cleaners and ultrasonic cleaners — a dry wipe keeps the shine intact.

Keep it on its stand

Always return the sphere to its brass stand. On a flat surface it can roll and chip; the stand keeps it safe and shows it at its best angle.

Keep the tube

The tube is made to protect your sphere in storage or transit. Whenever you move it, the brass stand and sphere nest safely back inside.
